Welcome to Menu Plan Monday! I’m super excited because this is actually posted on time! 

After a weekend away in Orlando visiting Hogwarts and the movies at Universal Studios I am rejuvenated and ready to get serious about my blogging and job hunting this week!

I am also half way through The 31 Days to Build A Better Blog Challenge and have learned A LOT of useful information. (I am working on a post about one of the challenges for later this week).
Monday – Steamed Blue Crabs (picked up at the oriental market while in Orlando)
Tuesday – Chicken, Rice-a-Roni, Spinach
Wednesday – Porkchops, Potatoes, Vegatble Medley
Thursday – Burgers, Pasta Roni, Applesauce
Friday – Chicken, Potatoes, green beans
Saturday – Porkchops or leftovers
Sunday – Pasta or leftovers

Breakfast – YOYO (Your On Your Own) – Waffles, Cereal, Bagel Bites
Lunch – YOYO – Spaghetti O’s, Chef Boyardee, Soups, Leftovers, frozen empanadas
Snacks – YOYO – Any Candy, popcorn, fruit, yogurt, soup, frozen empanadas

Menu Planning Monday – 10/11/2011

Welcome to Menu Planning Monday, even though it’s Tuesday. It has been crazy and stressful around here this week so bare with me.
I have decided for MPM to just plan what kind of meat we will be having so that we know what to take out of the freezer then whoever cooks dinner that night (the 3 of us usually alternate depending on who is home) can decide which sides and vegetables they would like to eat. Since none of that needs to be pre-prepared or anything it’s not a big deal to us to plan that part of the meal out. Plus I know we have a ton of sides and veggie’s in our stockpile.
Monday – Hotdogs, Grandma’s Chicken Noodle Soup, Corn
Tuesday – Porkchops
Wednesday – Chicken
Thursday – Burgers
Friday – Chicken Cutlets
Saturday – Porkchops
Sunday – Leftovers
Breakfast – YOYO (Your On Your Own) – Waffles, Cereal, Bagel Bites
Lunch – YOYO – Spaghetti O’s, Chef Boyardee, Soups, or Leftovers, frozen empanadas
Snacks – YOYO – Any Candy, popcorn, fruit, yogurt, soup, frozen empanadas

Menu Plan Monday – 9/26/2011


Welcome to Menu Plan Monday.  This is a new segment I am going to be posting to help make sure we are eating out of our stockpile and planning meals based on the sale ads.

I will be posting our meals for the week so we know what to take out of the freezer and to make sure we are eating out of our stockpile and not trying to make things we don’t have all the ingredients for.
We are trying to avoid “emergency shopping trips” as much as we can. I am using a meal planning sheet I found from PassionForSavings free downloads. 
Feel free to download it for your personal use. I have looked at others and like her layout the best. My meal planning is mainly for dinner. I will mention the other meals on the bottom with various things for us to eat since not everyone eats the other meals at home/together.
Monday – Burgers, French Fries, Corn on the Cob
Tuesday – Chicken, Rice-a-Roni, Green Beans
Wednesday – PF Changs Frozen Dinner
Thursday – Pork Chops, Cheesy Mashed Potatoes (courtesy of A Few Shortcuts), Spinach 
Friday – Chicken, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans
Saturday – Pasta or Leftovers
Sunday – Pasta or Leftovers
Depending on how the week goes we may substitute leftovers for any of these meals especially nights when everyone may not be home.
