Today is EASTER SUNDAY. I found this reflection on The Easter Story on youtube and thought it was a good representation of what we celebrate today!
How do you celebrate Easter? We usually have Lasagna and ham (and of course chocolate).

Since we are on the last week of Lent I wanted to share this video I found on Good Friday. This video depicts the Good Friday story by a 5th grade class, enjoy:
Good Friday is a weird day for me. It always makes me think about the retreats I did when I was in college. It makes me homesick for that time in my life. Most adults remember college as a time when they were “care free” and “got drunk” all the time. But for me it was a time when I really grew deeper in my faith. It’s been really hard for me the last few years since graduating to not have the amazing campus ministry community that I had in that time of my life. I really think my faith life has gotten WORSE and has gone BACKWARDS since graduating. I’m working on it but it’s hard to move on sometimes. Is Good Friday special to any of you? How do you celebrate?
Has everyone had a good holy week? Today is Good Friday. I always thought it was cool that today is the one day of the church year that Catholics can’t celebrate mass and hold a “service” like our protestant brothers and sisters. Although technically Holy Thursday till the Easter Vigil (The Triduum) is supposed to be one long mass. Both ways of looking at it are really fascinating to me. I love my Catholic Traditions. And now for some quick takes!
What did we do before IMDB? I think we all just drove ourselves crazy trying to figure out who “that guy” in “that tv show/movie” is and what other movie/tv show we saw him in.
Is Being Single A Failure? Last week I posted about a blog post I read about single ladies. Here is another one I found that I found really good I had to share.
I am really excited because I finally hit the payout on Amazon! Sadly it takes about 60 days before you get “paid” but it’s on it’s way! YAY! I am also really excited about all the reviews I’ve been applying/accepting. I am currently working on a food/snack review and we are currently gaining about 10 pounds from it.
Several months ago I wrote a 7 Quick Takes on the Crisis’ of the Catholic Church. Here is a video my friend posted on facebook by Father Robert Barron on why people leave the church. Very interesting.
This week was the last week of my Lenten Meal Plan Link-up. Since it is Good Friday make sure to go check out all the great meals people have posted and make one tonight (or another night).

For all you bloggers and/or cat lovers out there last Sunday’s Garfield will crack you up (maybe). If you didn’t catch it here it is:
The sad thing is literally two days earlier I took a video of Milo & Pierre eating cat food that they are reviewing for the blog and they looked at me just like Garfield looked at Jon in the video. I love how comics are catching up with technology.

Today is HOLY THURSDAY. I found this reflection on The Last Supper by Matt Maher. I really like what he says about the Jewish Traditions that are presented during The Last Supper.
Tonight starts the EASTER TRIDDUUM. I try and attend as many of the Tridduum services as I can. How do you celebrate?
