Today is the last day of Wordless Advent even though Advent is OFFICIALLY over I wanted to end it today after 30 days. January 6th is the Feast of the Ephinay so I have posted some cute 3 Kings pictures. It is also the day the good witch La Befana comes. She is the Italian witch that helped the 3 kinds find baby Jesus. To find more information about her click here. I hope everyone enjoyed the Digital Gifts of Wordless Advent. Did everyone enjoy it? I might look into doing something for lent haven’t decided yet. In January I want to start posting more couponing posts.

Day 26: How was your Christmas?

Our Christmas was very nice. For Christmas Eve we went to my sisters boyfriends house for dinner. It was a very nice evening plus I got some new movies out of the deal! I got Letters to Juliet which was one of MY FAVORITE movies!  Yay! After dinner we went to Midnight Mass at the cathedral that was very well done. It is very hard to say the right mass parts when everyone around you is saying the wrong ones. Oh well we’re all still learning together. After Mass we decided we wanted to sleep in so we opened gifts then. Then on Christmas Day we ate a late lunch of roast beef and homemade raviolis YUM and we played with our new toys! My sister got some new XBOX Kinnect games including the Disneyland game. One thing I learned is XBOX Kinnect is much more tiring than the Wii!

Overall it was a fun and enjoyable Christmas. I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS and JOY TO THE WORLD!! I hope everyone is having a wonderful CHRISTMAS holiday! Today is the OFFICIAL start to the 12 Days of Christmas! Did anyone get a partridge in a pear tree? Day 25: Does your family have a Christmas breakfast or dinner?

We usually have an early dinner around 2 or 3pm. We usually have a roast and home made raviolis and other random foods depending on the year. This year we are having Roast Beef and Raviolis. YUM.

Day 24: Do you go to a church service or go caroling?

We’re going to my sisters boyfriends for dinner and then MIDNIGHT MASS. I LOVE midnight mass! Is it mean to say I like it because all the screaming kids are in bed? At my old parish the midnight mass was always empty but I doubt the Cathedral is empty.I think I also like it because it gives me a real reason/excuse for being awake/out at midnight.  I’m looking forward to see how the CE Catholics take the New Roman Missal Changes. When do you go to church for Christmas?
